The age of the applicant for registration shall not be less than (18) eighteen years old
Original Invoice duly attested by the Chamber of the Commerce or building certificate for new boat} {Original Bill of Sale and Deletion certificate issued by MOEI, Court or one of the competent official authorities for used boat} {Duly attested customs manifest for imports boats from UAE Embassy from the country of origin and Ministry of Foreign affairs in UAE}
Insurance policy for the boat (valid for 13 months)
National Guard approval
Submission of an identity document
Commitment to install a wireless device for all marine vehicles over 35 feet in length

What documents are required to issue a pleasure boat registration certificate?

Foreigner: minimum AED 500

UAE national: Registration fee for a pleasure boat owned by a UAE national - tonnage x AED 4.5, with a minimum of 100 AED and a maximum of 10,000 dirhams annual tax. Total tonnage x AED 2 with a minimum of 20 AED
Foreigner: Foreigner-owned excursion boat registration fee - payload x 6.5 minimum AED 500
