As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance service quality and improve customer experience, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) organized a dedicated visit for a land transport sector customer from the private sector. This comes under the ministry’s broader Zero Bureaucracy Program aimed at simplifying procedures and delivering a seamless and smart government experience.

His Excellency Eng Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at MoEI and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Zero Bureaucracy, visited one of the leading companies in the land transport sector. The visit aimed to strengthen direct communication channels with customers and to closely assess the current services and explore ways to improve them in line with their needs.

During the visit, a set of essential updates introduced by the ministry to the land transport services system were reviewed. Several transactions can now be completed instantly and proactively through digital platforms, saving customers significant time and effort.

His Excellency Eng Al Olama followed the on-ground service application procedures and listened to a detailed explanation from company employees about the workflow and potential challenges customers may face in certain scenarios, with the aim of identifying areas for improvement and enhancing service efficiency.

His Excellency Eng Al Olama said: “At the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, we believe that the customer is a key partner in the design and development of services. This visit represents a practical model of the proactive government methodology we are working to instil—based on flexibility and attentive listening to the voice of the customer.”

He added: “Through such initiatives, we aim to develop highly efficient services that meet the aspirations of our partners in the private sector and enhance the competitiveness of the national business environment in the land transport sector, supporting the broader development goals of the country.”

He continued: “Under the guidance of its wise leadership, the UAE continues to cement its position as a global model in modern governance—providing simpler, faster, and more impactful services, and placing people at the center of development. This is being realized through the design of an integrated government service system that is accessible, accurate, and deeply impactful on individuals and society. This is the core of the Zero Bureaucracy Program in both its first and second phases, which reflect the ambitious vision of our leadership to transform government work into a streamlined, efficient, and flexible experience that leverages technology and knowledge to deliver services that meet the highest international standards.”
