Virtual assistant in MoEI website and smart app

Consultation Topic:

The virtual assistant is an interactive digital tool designed to assist users by responding to their inquiries and guiding them through the website or smart application.

It helps enhance the user experience by providing instant support, and interaction with it can be either through text or voice.


Objective of the Consultation:
  • To get public feedback on the importance of having a virtual assistant on the Ministry's website and smart application.
  • To identify the preferred method of interaction with the assistant (via voice or text).


Expected Decisions:
  • Do not implement a virtual assistant, or
  • Implement a virtual assistant with both voice and text, or
  • Implement a virtual assistant with text only.

Outcome

The virtual assistant aims to enhance the user experience by providing instant support and responding to inquiries through the Ministry's website or smart application, whether through written or voice interaction. Based on the digital consultation published across the Ministry's various channels regarding the proposed adoption of this tool, a total of 17 responses were received during the period from 4 November to 2 December 2025.
