In line with the "Year of the Community," the Ministry has launched a package of exclusive privileges for senior citizens and residents aged 60 and above. This initiative reflects our appreciation for their contributions and aims to enhance the quality of services provided to them. In 2024, senior citizens completed approximately 34,201 transactions. The initiative seeks to:
- Consolidate all services for senior citizens and residents under a unified service framework within the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
- Provide value-added services and facilitation by analysing their specific needs.
- Improve accessibility to the Ministry’s services for senior citizens and residents.
